Lexie-Ann's First Birthday Party

Yesterday was Lexie-Ann's First Birthday Party, and what a party is was!

Ava

Yesterday I was talking to Nicholas' parents about how it seems like all the new babies lately are boys. And it occured to me that all the little girls I know are learning to walk and turning one! Ava just had her first Birthday last week and she already totally knows what she's doing as far as walking as concerned. I'm not sure which is cuter...a tiny sleeping baby or a tiny toddler walking around.

I met Ava last year and didn't think it was possible for her to get any cuter, but she did! We went outside and she seemed a little unsure at first...


She quickly started to have fun!

Lexie-Ann!!!

Yesterday I met Lexie-Ann and her mom and dad at her Grandparents' house for some Birthday pictures! It's hard to see in the pictures because of course Lexie-Ann is the focus, but they have an amazing backyard!

Lexie-Ann sat and played on rocks in the brook for a while.


Then we hung out on the grass and I got to see her walk! It was so exciting to see her smile and laugh every time she took a few steps. Just a couple months ago she was a little baby and now she seems like such a big girl!


And every time she sat down, she would cross her little legs like this and hold her hands together!


It wouldn't be a Lexie-Ann photo shoot without a tutu. She looked adorable as always in her special Birthday outfit!














I'm looking forward to her First Birthday bash next weekend. Happy Birthday, Lexie-Ann!!!

Perfect Little Nicholas

Yesterday I got to see baby Nicholas again. He's three months older, but still so little and cute. I love the look on his adorable little face in the first one!







I have looked at this one over and over again. Isn't his little face perfect?

I realize I keep writing "little" and I just feel like the way I think the word in my head encompasses the cuteness and perfection and "babyness" of Nicholas!

Busy Weekend

I am just about to start getting ready for my first of FOUR portrait sessions this weekend. I am very excited because they are all with babies I have photographed before and it is always so cool to see them grow. One of tomorrow's sessions is with this little guy, CJ. I met him about 7 months ago, when he was just a month old!
