Busy Weekend

I am just about to start getting ready for my first of FOUR portrait sessions this weekend. I am very excited because they are all with babies I have photographed before and it is always so cool to see them grow. One of tomorrow's sessions is with this little guy, CJ. I met him about 7 months ago, when he was just a month old!

Baby Ryan

Speaking of happy little kids, meet baby Ryan! At just under three months old, he's already a pro, full of smiles!

Big brother, Kevin, usually loves having his picture taken. His excuse Saturday when I asked him after about an hour if he was ever going to smile for me:

"I'm too busy."

Even without a smile, he has one adorable face!

The Happiest Little Girl

These are two of my favorites of Rose from last weekend.

After just waking up from her nap (check out the adorable bedhead!), this was the smile she gave me as soon as I held up my camera!

Here she is ready for a ride in the wagon. The older kids were fighting, but Rose just smiled and clapped. She's always clapping!

She is the happiest little girl! Doesn't she just make you smile?

Lexie-Ann's First Year

In honor of Lexie-Ann's upcoming First Birthday, I put together just a few of the pictures I have taken since I met her 10 months ago.

This weekend

This weekend's two portrait sessions were postponsed and Paul is golfing today, so I am spending time on productive things like throwing away junk mail, hardboiling eggs, giving myself a manicure, and those things people do regularly that I rarely do myself: cleaning, grocery shopping, and laundry. I will not allow myself to lie on the couch and watching movies all weekend (like I did last weekend). I think Paul might actually be a little confused when he gets home and realizes all his clothes are clean and folded or hung, both bathrooms are clean, and we have toothpaste, bananas, and spinach wraps and that he didn't buy. Okay, not sure if I can really accomplish all of that in one day, but I'm going to try!

After looking at my checking account and calulating the small fortune I spent at Europa, Cafe Duke, and Pergola on lunches this week, I put some whole wheat pasta in a pot to boil and I'm going to add some beans, veggies and sauce, in different combinations, to bring for lunches this week. Paul seems to buy whole wheat pasta every time he goes to Trader Joe's, even when we don't need it, so we have enough to last us a year, or at least a few weeks.

I'm also going to spend some time today with Grace and Rose and their little friends Kevin and Ryan, so stay tuned for pictures of two of the cutest girls ever and and two adorable little boys! I haven't met baby Ryan yet, but based on my experiences with his big brother, I'm looking forward to it!

Okay, time to pull myself away from the computer so that I can get started on all this productiveness!

Scheduling Update

This is my last weekend of not so busy season, so I am finishing pictures from last week, while listening to my new favorite song over and over and over...

I see some relaxing in front of the TV in the cards for later today!

April and May are pretty much booked, which really just means that the upcoming weekends are busy enough or maybe a little too busy! It doesn't mean I won't squeeze you in, so e-mail me soon if you really want a portrait session in the next six weeks!

Otherwise, I have plenty of weekends available in June, July and August!
